About the Artist
Reef has been drawing and artistically inclined her whole life. She graduated with a bachelors degree in biology and fine-art while specializing in figure-drawing and health studies. She often uses ink, graphite, colored pencils and more in her creations. She is also a graphic-designer and has begun to delve deeper into digital editing and illustration. Her other artistic outlets include aerial arts (aerial-hoop/lyra), dancing, yoga, DJ-ing and VJ-ing . You can often find her under the laser lights enjoying electronic music festivals and live painting/vending at state-wide events.

About the LAB
The Sugarcube Lab is an artistry company created by the Florida based artist Reef. The Lab is meant to be a free space for artistic expression and multi-media exploration. The artist incorporates biological shapes from both nature, human anatomy and science-fiction. This often results in works done with a mixture of anatomical precision and imaginative organic shapes. The art creations made are far from limited to fine art media/illustration. Many of her creations are also digitally edited or rendered. This sometimes involves breaking down the images of fine art to create the base ingredients for a digital piece. Quite frequently the resulting product resembles nothing of its original form. The goal is for Sugarcube Lab to become a “lab” for artistic experimentation, originality and collaboration.
